TCPA / SMS Consent Disclosure
1. What you’re consenting to
When you submit your phone number and tap “See my rate” on our eligibility form, you expressly consent under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) to receive the following at the phone number you provided, even if that number is on a federal or state Do-Not-Call registry:
- Phone calls from licensed insurance agents to discuss life insurance products and rates.
- Pre-recorded or artificial-voice calls to confirm appointments or follow up on your inquiry.
- Calls placed using an automatic telephone dialing system (auto-dialer).
- Recurring marketing and informational text messages (SMS / MMS) from The Veteran Resource Center and its licensed agents.
- Email messages to the email address you provided.
Your consent is not a condition of purchase of any insurance product or other goods or services. You may receive an insurance quote without consenting to automated calls or text messages by calling us directly during business hours.

A transactional and marketing SMS program for U.S. veterans aged 50–85 who have requested a life-insurance eligibility check or quote on theveteranresourcecenter.com. Messages confirm your application, schedule and confirm calls with a licensed agent, deliver follow-up information about your quote, and occasionally share educational information about veteran life-insurance benefits.
How to opt in
Complete the eligibility form on theveteranresourcecenter.com (or any landing page operated by The Veteran Resource Center), provide a valid U.S. mobile phone number, and tap “See my rate.” The disclosure shown directly beneath the submit button on every form states the consent terms in plain English; a copy is reproduced below.

By tapping See my rate, you agree that The Veteran Resource Center and its licensed agents may contact you at the phone and email above — including by autodialed calls, pre-recorded messages, and recurring marketing/transactional SMS — about insurance products, even if your number is on a DNC list. 3. Mobile Information & Third Parties
The Veteran Resource Center will not share, sell, or transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We share your phone number only with (a) the licensed insurance agents who service your inquiry in response to your request, and (b) the service providers (e.g., Twilio) necessary to deliver SMS messages to you on our behalf.
4. Revoking Your Consent
You may revoke your consent to receive calls and text messages at any time and by any reasonable means, including:
- Replying STOP to any text message.
- Telling an agent on a phone call that you wish to be removed.
- Emailing [email protected].
5. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older and a U.S. resident to opt in to our SMS program. By opting in, you represent and warrant that the phone number you provided is your own and that you are authorized to receive messages at that number.
6. Not a Government Site
The Veteran Resource Center is a privately owned, for-profit insurance lead-generation and referral service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any other government agency.
